Edit Compute specification (Previously Boosts)
This document will help you improve your Repl's performance by changing its computing abilities. You can make these changes by adjusting vCPUs (think of them as the brain) and RAM (similar to memory).
If you want your Repls to work better, you can tweak how many vCPUs (like the brain) and RAM (like memory) they use.
note
By default, all free Repls start with a basic setup of 0.5 vCPU + 0.5 GiB RAM.
With a Replit Core membership, your Repls come with more power: 4 vCPUs + 8 GiB RAM.
Manage compute for your Repl
You can adjust your Repl's computing power from within the Workspace by following the steps below:
- Navigate to your Repl.
- In the top-left corner of your workspace, select the Resources icon next to your Repl's name.
- Select the pencil icon next to the default Compute specification.
- Choose between Basic, Moderate or High-performance computing options.
- Select Apply Change.
You have successfully updated your compute power.
