Pull support tickets from Zendesk, categorize issues, identify trends, and update a Notion dashboard with top themes, volume vs last week, and suggested follow-ups. Ping Slack if a new theme appears or volume jumps, so the team can act before it hits the roadmap.

Best for

  • Product managers who need weekly reviews from Zendesk.
  • Support and product leads who need to catch a new issue before it hits the roadmap.

Connectors

Also works with Intercom, Front, and Zoho Desk.

Before you start

Connect Zendesk, Slack, and Notion. Tell Agent which products or tags to include.

Prompt the agent

What to expect

Agent clusters tickets into themes, counts volume, and writes a short “what to do.” Sample a few tickets per theme to check the labels. After the first week, raise or lower what counts as a spike so Slack stays useful. Open two tickets per top theme in Zendesk and confirm the label fits. If Slack fired, check that volume really jumped vs last week.

Make it work for you

Troubleshooting

  • Themes are too vague or mix unrelated tickets: tell Agent which products or tags to include, and ask it to separate bugs, billing, and feature requests. Sample a few tickets per theme to check the labels.
  • Slack pings on every small change: raise the bar: only alert when a new theme appears or volume jumps by a percentage you name.
  • Tickets come from the wrong workspace: connect Zendesk to the right workspace and say which products or tags to include.

Monitor brand mentions

Same Slack and Notion setup for public sentiment, not just tickets.

Generate release notes

For product managers who also ship a weekly changelog in Notion.
