You have researched the neighborhood, connected your tools, and built a launch plan. Now it is time to let people know about your coffee shop. For that, you will create an opening site. Before you begin, it helps to understand the two places where this work lives in Replit: conversations and projects.

From plan to project

The coffee-shop launch began in a conversation. That is where you shaped the idea, researched the market, connected tools, and created a Routine. Now you are ready to build an opening site. A project is the place for that substantial design and build work. Replit can use the context already in the conversation, so you do not need to start again from scratch.

What is a conversation?

A conversation is a single thread where you ask questions, explore information, run Routines, and continue work through follow-ups. In this story, it holds the coffee-shop research and launch plan.

What is a project?

A project is a durable, structured space for substantial build and design work. In this story, it is where you will create and refine the opening site.

How they work together

Start in a conversation when you want to ask or explore. Move into a project when you are ready to build. The handoff keeps the direction you have already created.
