# Turn a spreadsheet into a team dashboard

> Upload a CSV, analyze the numbers, publish an interactive dashboard, and create a findings deck from the same conversation.

export const AiPrompt = ({children}) => {
  return <CodeBlock className="relative block max-w-full overflow-x-hidden font-sans !whitespace-pre-wrap !break-words" style={{
    overflowWrap: "anywhere",
    wordBreak: "break-word"
  }}>
      <div className="pr-7" style={{
    whiteSpace: "pre-wrap",
    overflowWrap: "anywhere",
    wordBreak: "break-word"
  }}>
        {children}
      </div>
    </CodeBlock>;
};

Start with a spreadsheet and a question. Replit analyzes the numbers, builds an interactive
dashboard your team can open, and turns the findings into a deck. Each step builds on the
analysis you already did, so you don't need a new brief for each output.

## Best for

* Team leads who share the same numbers every week and want a live link instead of a chart in a chat.
* Analysts who need a dashboard and a short presentation from one dataset.

## Before you start

Export the data as a CSV with clear column names. Know the question the team needs answered,
such as which region is behind target.

## Ask Replit

Attach the CSV, then ask:

<AiPrompt>
  Analyze this spreadsheet. What are the three most important trends, and
  which \[region, product, or team] needs attention?
</AiPrompt>

## Keep going

<AiPrompt>
  Build an interactive dashboard from this data with filters for \[column] and
  \[column]. Show only what the data contains.
</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>Publish the dashboard so my team can open it.</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>
  Create a five-slide findings deck from the analysis and the dashboard.
</AiPrompt>

## What to expect

Replit summarizes the data first, so you can check the findings before anything is built. The
dashboard uses the same columns and findings. When the build grows into an app, Replit
[creates a project](/chat/continue-or-create-a-project#create-a-new-project), and the context
from the chat carries forward. After you [publish](/features/publishing/overview), the team gets
a live link. The deck reuses the numbers and the story from the analysis.

Check one figure in the dashboard and one in the deck against the CSV.

## Keep creating

<AiPrompt>
  Write a short update for the team that links to the dashboard and
  summarizes the top finding.
</AiPrompt>

## Troubleshooting

* **Figures don't match the CSV:** ask Replit to show the calculation behind a number and to use only columns in the file.
* **The dashboard needs new data each week:** ask Replit how to replace the data, or connect the source the CSV comes from.
