Agent can now build [mobile apps](/replitai/building-mobile-apps) with a full backend server. This unlocks powerful capabilities including [AI Integrations](/replitai/integrations), [Database](/cloud-services/storage-and-databases/sql-database), [Object Storage](/cloud-services/storage-and-databases/object-storage), and connectors—everything you need for production-ready mobile development.

### Database now generally available

The new [Database](/cloud-services/storage-and-databases/sql-database) is now the default for all new Replit Apps. This upgrade delivers enhanced reliability and infrastructure control, with improved performance and easier data management for your projects.

### Fast Mode handles more autonomously

[Lite mode](/core-concepts/agent/agent-modes) (formerly Fast Mode) can now handle more tasks on its own while recommending Agent for larger changes. Build faster with quick iterations and seamless handoffs.
