# Developer Frameworks

> Language and framework starter templates have been removed. Learn how to start a new Replit project today.

## Developer framework templates have been removed

Language and framework starter templates (previously called developer frameworks) are no longer available on Replit. The `replit.com/templates` and `replit.com/developer-frameworks` pages now redirect to the [Replit Gallery](https://replit.com/gallery).

To start a new project, use one of the following instead:

* **Start with Replit Agent** — Describe what you want to build from the [home page](https://replit.com/) and let Agent scaffold the project for you.
* **[Import from GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket](/build/import-from-providers)** — Bring an existing codebase or a starter stack in as a new Replit App.
* **[Remix a published app](https://replit.com/gallery)** — Browse the Replit Gallery for community apps you can view and remix as a starting point.

## Enterprise custom templates

Enterprise organizations can create [custom templates](/teams/custom-templates) that appear as selectable options in the Agent input box for all org members. Custom templates go beyond developer frameworks by including company-specific Agent instructions, skills, and pre-configured project context.
